Odd dog bouquet

Afternoon Folks!
It's a beautiful Spring day here - hope the sun is shining where you are! We have a new theme just starting over at Sparkles Monthly Challenges

FLOWERS OR RELIGIOUS (or both!)

Here's the card I made, I have very little in the way of religious themed stash, so I went with the flowers option and an Odd Dog digi from LOTV:

Pleased to say that my camera is back up and running, it was a faulty memory card which I ended up 'extracting' with pliers!

The flower paper is by My Minds Eye and the die cut is by Cottage Cotz.

Pawprints!

Morning Folks!
It's my turn to choose the theme for the new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers this week, so I hope you like my choice which is:
EMBOSSING (Wet or Dry)

I have lots of embossing folders but rarely think to use them, so this theme was to give me a kick in the right direction!!

Here's my card with apologies for the pants picture, my usual camera has died I think?? It has a memory card stuck in it and won't let it go, whilst telling me that there is no SD card! I'm going to attack it with a pair of needle ended pliers shortly ....

I bought this unbranded paw prints embossing folder from a craft show years ago and I think I have only used it once before! The stamp is a PB favourite called Dressed Up. I do love a dog in a tie!!

Hopping into Spring

Morning Folks!
It's the weekend!!! I've not got great plans just trying to catch up with a few jobs and then hopefully spending some time card making.
The new challenge is just starting over at Penny Black Saturday Challenges , as usual ANYTHING PENNY BLACK GOES
The optional 'Extra' challenge this time is
FRESH SPRING COLOURS

I thought Spring was definately on it's way last week but it seems to have taken a pace backwards - it's a bit nippy here! When I made this card, there was hail hitting the window - sigh!
I've used an old favourite PB stamp called 'Jump for Joy', I'm never sure whether this is a frog or a toad but he certainly looks cheerful!

Card Details
Papers - Dovecraft - Garden Party and scraps
Sentiment - Crafter's Companion
Flowers - Prima

Feature a Creature

Morning Folks!
Hope everyone is well? We have just come back from a short stay in Norwich to pick up my son from Uni. I thought I would be able to do my Sparkles Christmas post while we were away, but the WiFi in the hotel was pants!! So, here I am playing catch up again ....

The new challenge theme over at SPARKLES CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE is:

FEATURE A CREATURE

Here's my card, I am slowly working mmy way through some LOTV toppers I found in my stash:
It's a bit hard to see in the picture but I have added some stickles to the image and also some fluff to the penguins hat:

Frosties Anyone??

Afternoon Folks!
This week, the new challenge at Passion for Promarkers is

FOR A CHILD & INCLUDE REAL or FAUX STITCHING

I have been sorting through my stamp collection recently and listing some I no longer love or have never used on Ebay. Anyhow, during one sorting session I came across a small collection of Wags and Whiskers rubber stamps that I bought from Bunny Zoe's closing down sale. I obviously 'needed' them at the time but hadn't actually got around to using them ..... anyone else do that?? Amongst the stamps, was this fab tiger which reminded me of The Tiger who came to Tea childrens book and also Tony the Kellogg's Frosties Tiger. He seemed perfect for a childs card and has finally seen ink:

Here's the close up view, I used stitched square dies from The Works as my stitched element. The card does look a bit sparse at the moment but I am planning to add a die cut number on the when I have decided who to send it to!!

A Spring Garden

Morning Folks!
It's Friday at last, nearly time for the weekend!
It's also time for our new theme over at Sparkles Monthly Challenges which is

STAMP YOUR BACKGROUND

Once I had decided what to do, and I had actually found my Card io 'Dragonfly Garden' stamps, this card was really quick and fun to make. I just grabbed a selection of ink pads (memento dew drops, some stampin' up and a couple from versa colour), masked off the bottom of my card with post it notes and went potty with the tiny stamps!! Quite pleased with the end result, especially when I added a few touches of glamour dust! Hard to see in the photo but it has added some nice sparkle! Added a sentiment from Stampin' Up and trimmed and mounted! Ta - Da!!
