As usual ANYTHING PENNY BLACK GOES
The optional 'Extra' challenge this time is

The Easter egg paper and matching egg sticker are from one of my all time favourite paper pads - First Edition Spring Drop. The sentiment stamp is also by Penny Black.

Nice Wallpaper

Afternoon Folks!
A quick post, I just wanted to show you the card I made today for the monthly progressive challenge over at Gerda Steiner Designs. This month's cute stamp is called 'Cat in Bookshelf ' When this popped into my inbox, my mojo had done a runner and I have to admit I didn't really have a clue what to make or how to use it. Late last night, I was rummaging through my paper pads looking for something else (as you do) and I found a paper pad from The Works called Pastels and Whites. For some reason, this paper made me think of wallpaper..... and so this idea came to me! Gotta love some chintzy wallpaper:

I'm looking forward to seeing what image Gerda sends out next month, so far they have all been super cute and fun to colour.
Thanks for visiting today and for any comments you leave xx

I hope not!
Over at Sparkles Monthly Challengeswe have had enough of cold wintery weather, for our new challenge we think

SPRING IS IN THE AIR

Daffodils always make me think Spring is coming so I've used them on my card along with a very appropriate LOTV cute square called Bunny with Daffs. I think this card is going to my aunt who celebrates her birthday on Easter Monday.

Dolly Daydream

Afternoon Folks!
Well it's been a dull old day here, rain and grey skies - everything I hate about the British winter! I have something to cheer us up though, a Spring inspired card! I made this for my sister who is mad about sheep:

The digi is Dolly Daydream from Digistamp Boutique, isn't she cute?

Card Details:
Papers - First Edition Spring Drop and a bit of green from my scraps box
Dies - New fence die from China, cheap as chips and cuts really well and MBox butterfly
Prima Flowers from my stash with stickles in the centres

Thanks for visiting and for any comments you leave!

Red or White?

Morning Folks!
Hope you're all well ?
This week, the new challenge at Passion for Promarkers is
ONLY GIRLS ALLOWED
so we are looking forward to seeing your girly projects.

I wasn't feeling in a pink and fluffy mood when I made this card, so this is my take on the challenge using a fabulous stamp from Bugaboo called  JJ-Housework - Cook. The sentiment is included with the image too - I think I need this sign in my kitchen! The papers are actually from an old Christmas pad called 'Daisy and Dandelion - A winter's tale'. The date on the front cover is 2009!! The enamel dots are a much nore recent purchase from The Works.

Hippety Hop - Spring is coming soon ....

Morning Folks!
Well it's been a strange old week here, I'm a tad confused about what day it is as I've had two snow days off school in a row (yippee!!) so it feels like the weekend came early! I'm not complaining about the snow, it's the perfect opportunity to catch up with a bit of colouring while sitting in front of the radiator!

As it is Saturday (I checked!!) the new challenge is just starting over at Penny Black Saturday Challenges , as usual
ANYTHING PENNY BLACK GOES
The optional 'Extra' challenge this time is
EASTER OR CHOCOLATE BROWN

Here's my card, it's a picture heavy post as it's a tri-fold card:

Front

Inside

Completely open

The front image is called Bunny Talk (2561H) coloured with promarkers.

Inside is Bunny Kiss (2561H)

The die cut rabbits are a Memory Box die and the green criss cross papers are from a Back to Basics Bright Spark pack. The front sentiment is LOTV and the inside one is Penny Black.
I do hope you'll pop over to the main blog, just click on the picture below, to see the fabulous cards from the rest of the design team.

Seeing Stars

Morning Folks!
Can you believe it's the 1st of March already?
Spring must nearly be here .... and then before we know it will be Christmas!! If you are looking for inspiration to get ahead with your Christmas makes, we have a new challenge starting over at SPARKLES CHRISTMAS
CHALLENGE today.

 This month our theme is:
TWINKLE, TWINKLE
so we'd like to see you use STARS on your projects please.

I was originally thinking of stars in the night sky when I first saw this theme but then I realised this cute pair of hedgehogs making their Crimbo decorations was also rather appropriate! Apologies for the dull photo, the light was not great when I took these piccys and the matt gold is not showing up too well. The stamp, which is called Star Struck, is quite large so I just added some die cut stars and ribbon. The die cuts are by Die'sire.

I hope you can see the velvet flocking I added to their hats. I also added some of the waste stars from the die cut to fill in the space around the hogs.

Thank you so much for visiting today and for any comments you're kind enough to leave xx
