Going crackers.....

Hi Folks! I'm going crackers today - quite literally, I almost forgot to write this post - what am I like! Better late than never, here's my offering for the latest challenge over at Lexi's Creations. For this week's Challenge, to celebrate being the exact date of our very first Challenge, we thought we would repeat the original Challenge. So for this week we would love to see your creations in…...

Blue & Silver

Joanna Sheen is this week's Sponsor and she will be donating a £10 voucher to spend in her online store, to one lucky randomly selected winner.

Now, I have to admit that I am beginning to get a tad fed up with making Christmas cards, so inspired by you tube videos and armed with a stack of loo rolls, I decided to have an attempt at making a Christmas cracker. It was good fun, although I did feel that you needed more than 2 paws for the rolling up and taping down. I managed to get some cracker snaps for the inside from ebay, the blue pearlescent paper is wrapping paper, & the tinsel string is by papermania. I had to use a bear on my first cracker (of course!) so I've used Paulo, who you can find at Lexi's store here. He's on sale at the moment, along with all Lexi's images, so grab yourself some bargains. He's coloured with promarkers and glitter pen and mounted on nesties.

The white pearlescent paper strips on the end are from my scrap box and have been embossed with a Snowman border brass stencil that I picked up in Hobbycrafts sale last year for 9p!!

Hope you can join us over at Lexi's this time!

I'd also like to give a BIG friendly wave to all the new members of the design team:

I'd also like to enter my cracker in the following challenges:
Creative Inspirations: Christmas gifts
(can't tell you what's inside I'm afraid in case the recipient reads this!)
Creative card crew: Not another card
Simon Says: Let it snow
Thanks for looking!

Season's Bleetings !

Hi All! I'm so pleased I have managed to get this card finished this afternoon in time for the Wild Rose studio blog hop. I've just done the hop and added lots of WRS stamps to my wish list, they are so cute! Dawny's sketch was great fun to follow and in the absence of a Wild Rose stamp in my collection, I have dug deep and used this cute Penny Black sheep that has been in my drawer forever!! I've coloured the sheep with promarkers (what else!) and layered up his face to give some more depth. I added glamour dust, Doodlebug white crushed velvet and a pom pom to his hat (picked these pom poms up in Tesco this week!) . The bold stripey paper is from my stash too, I've just checked it is made by Sweetwater - not sure when/where i bought it! The background pearlescent card has been embossed with a swiss dots embossing folder. The ribbon is from last years xmas chocs !
Hope ewe like him (get it!!) !

Twinkle toes

Hi everyone! Hope you are all OK? Today I wanted to share my card for this weeks challenge over at C.R.A.F.T. My card very nearly didn't happen, I've had one of those frustrating lack of mojo phases where I just push pieces of paper around and nothing looks right! I'm hoping that it doesn't last much longer!

The challenge this week was to use the following colour inspiration, you can use individual colours or a combination if you like!

We are sponsored this week by:

I've used the fabulous precoloured Twinkle toes image on my card - isn't it fun! One lucky winner of our challenge will win 2 images from Glitterbabes store!

I'm hoping that we will get lots of entries this week so I can drop by and visit you and be inspired!

Anniversary Heart

Hi Folks, well can you believe it, I had some time this afternoon to craft and then Mr Mojo has gone and left the building. All the design team stuff I needed to get done seemed to be cursed, I've coloured over lines, lost my glamour dust and can't seem to cut straight to save my life!!

Anyways, determined not to be beaten I had a cuppa and then decided to do something else and I ended up making this Anniversary card for the fab challenge over at Creative Craft, who are celebrating their 1st blogoversary with a challenge to make an Anniversary / celebration card.

I've heat embossed the heart image, one of my fav stamps of all time by Prima, using cosmic shimmer glittery red embossing powder . I've added an eyelet and suspended the heart on some ribbon so that it can swing!! Sorry for the poor pictures, I hate this time of year for taking piccys!! In real life the embossing and ribbon are quite sparkly and the little gems show up a bit better!

I'd also like to enter this into the challenges at:

Thanks for looking!
