Baaaag -a - lope

Afternoon Folks!
Hope you're all OK and keeping warm and dry!

Just wanted to share another Christmas project I have managed to complete this week, it's an idea from Split Coast stampers to make a gift bag from an envelope, you can follow the tutorial here. I made one of these at Easter and it was really quick and easy, so I decided to make a Christmas version! I'm intending to give it to my sister who loves sheep, so I've used this very appropriate Penny Black stamp!!

Here's a closer look, hope you can see the bling gems in the corner, the light is rubbish for taking pics with today ;-(

For the main part of the bag I've followed the sketch over at Midnight madness

I'd also like to enter the challenges at:

Party Time Tuesdays - Anything goes
Craft Your Passion - tis the season
Pollycraft Mondays - Christmas Fun

Maggie with Dottie Scarf

Afternoon Folks!

Hope everyone is OK and keeping warm and cosy - it certainly seems a bit nippy here!
I managed to get this card finished yesterday but the camera batteries were dead when I came to photograph it :-(

I've made this card for my cousin who has a birthday near Christmas. I followed the sketch over at The Sugar Bowl and used a Sugar Nellie stamp that has only been inked up once before - slapped wrists!! It's called Maggie with Dottie Scarf . Have to say it made a nice change not to be doing a Christmas card!

Here's a closer look, doesn't she look warm and cosy:

As usual I can't resist a few challenges:

Fab N Funky - Birthday cards
Birthday Sundaes - Birthday card
Crafting when we can - Use a sketch (from The sugar bowl)
Dutch Dare Challenges - Recipe (patterned paper, image, gems)
Kaboodle Doodles - Bundle up for Winter

Rudolph Skating

Morning Folks!
Hope everyone is OK and enjoying the weekend?

It's time for another challenge over at Here Come the Boys and this time it's very simple, we'd like to see something for

THE MAN IN YOUR LIFE

I found these plain red gift bags in Tesco last week and decided they were a bit of a bargain - I think they were 40p each and on a 3 for 2 offer - and they just shouted out to be altered!!

So I have given one a bit of a makeover and I am planning to use it for Lewis' main present at Christmas! I was good and used up the leftovers that were on my desk from making my Santa Bunny card so he will be getting the matching card and bag set!!

The super cute image is a freebie from Digi Stamp Boutique, it's called Rudi and it makes me smile - that would be me on ice skates for sure - sat on my bum in a helpless state - LOL!!

I've coloured him with promarkers and added some glittery ric rac which I think was an old magazine freebie and mounted him on double scalloped circle nesties. Simples but I'm pleased with how it came out!!

I hope you can join us over at HCTB this time, check out the main blog for the prize details and some great inspiration from the rest of the girls!!

As usual I can resist entering a few challenges:
Digi Stamp Boutique - November Customer Competition
Papertake Weekly - Xmas crackers
I love promarkers Anything goes
Digi Doodle Shop - Animals

Polka Doodles - Italian xmas
Stampin with the Dragon _ Anything goes xmas
Totally papercrafts - Christmas

Edited to add:

Yipppeee!!!!

Mint Imperial anyone??

Santa Bunny

Afternoon Folks!

I'm not quite sure what has happened to my original post - I think Mr Blogger has eaten it!!

Anyway today I want to share my card which is the midway reminder for the

RED, GREEN & WHITE CHALLENGE

I've inked up a sadly neglected Messy rabbit stamp, coloured him with promarkers and added a touch of liquid pearls and glamour dust to his fur trimmed coat.

As it's a masculine card I didn't really want to add flowers so I've added a few sprigs of holly instead:

My favourite ribbon this year has to be this tartan and I've gathered it together with a charm from Ewe2cancraft - love the antique gold colour!

The Christmas Wishes sentiment is from LOTV.

Thanks for looking today and don't forget to rush over to HCTB to be in with a chance of winning this lovely prize:

As usual I'd like to enter a few challenges too:

Morning Folks!!

Well I think I will just about make morning with this post, running a bit behind today!! Another Thursday has come around, and good news we have another great challenge for you over at C.R.A.F.T.

This week we'd like to see projects with STARS on for our

'STARS IN YOUR EYES' challenge.

We have a new sponsor this week too, Bugaboo Digital stamps :

I love their images and I've used Rudolph stars for my card:

Very simple card as you can see because I wanted the focus to be on the red nosed fella! He's coloured with promarkers and had glossy accents added to his eyes and nose. The embossed star background is a papermania embossing folder, with ribbon and ric rac trim and gold die cut stars, which were a magazine freebie from goodness knows when!!

A few challenges for Rudolph:

Totally Gorjuss - Xmas traditions
Paper Sundaes - Digi images

I managed to grab a little bit of time to craft over the weekend and decided to ignore the DT projects and instead enter one of my favourite challenges over at House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge where the theme is thankful. I didn't have a large stamp that was really suitable so I decided to use this tiny one instead. The whole card is only 12cm square and Muzzy mouse only measures about 3cm!!

The cuttlebug embossing folders and nesties also got a bit of an outing too!! Along with the fine nibs on my promarkers!!

Pincushion

Morning Folks!
Good grief!! I can't believe that it's November already - the weeks are going faster and faster!! Still Thursday means time for another fun challenge over at C.R.A.F.T., this time we'd like to see

FAMILY / BOARD GAMES OR ACTIVITIES

I've used a sewing image from our sponsor Bows and Berries for my card. I coloured it with Distress inks - bit of a first for me ;-) - and tried to give it a slightly distressed vintage feel! The gorgeous papers are from Barely Mine Designs.

Here's a closer look:

Couldn't resist using this gorgeous charm and a couple of pins from Ewe2 can Craft as a finishing touch:

Thanks for looking today and I hope you'll find time to join us at CRAFT this week.
