Blue & Silver
Joanna Sheen is this week's Sponsor and she will be donating a £10 voucher to spend in her online store, to one lucky randomly selected winner.
Now, I have to admit that I am beginning to get a tad fed up with making Christmas cards, so inspired by you tube videos and armed with a stack of loo rolls, I decided to have an attempt at making a Christmas cracker. It was good fun, although I did feel that you needed more than 2 paws for the rolling up and taping down. I managed to get some cracker snaps for the inside from ebay, the blue pearlescent paper is wrapping paper, & the tinsel string is by papermania. I had to use a bear on my first cracker (of course!) so I've used Paulo, who you can find at Lexi's store here. He's on sale at the moment, along with all Lexi's images, so grab yourself some bargains. He's coloured with promarkers and glitter pen and mounted on nesties.
The white pearlescent paper strips on the end are from my scrap box and have been embossed with a Snowman border brass stencil that I picked up in Hobbycrafts sale last year for 9p!!
Hope you can join us over at Lexi's this time!
I'd also like to give a BIG friendly wave to all the new members of the design team:
I'd also like to enter my cracker in the following challenges:
This is a cracker Jacky! (sorry lol) & it's hard to believe it is the first one you've made :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
