Embrace an Elephant!

Afternoon Folks!
I'm running behind with this post which should have gone up on Saturday, BIG  apologies to my teamies, but I forgot all about it before we went away for the weekend - oops!

The optional 'Extra' challenge this time is
CLEAN AND SIMPLE.

Here's my card, using a very old but much loved wood backed stamp called Embrace and an embossing folder from Crafter's Companion called Delicate Petals.

I was trying to create a 'soft' look to the colouring on this stamp so it is stamped in Memento London Fog and coloured with promarkers and pencils.

A Vintage Christmas

Morning Folks!

We have a new challenge starting over at SPARKLES CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE today and the theme is:

VINTAGE CHRISTMAS

Now, I have to say vintage isn't really my thing, but after a good rumage through my stash, here's what I came up with:

 The papers and image are a scrapbook magazine freebie from years ago. To add to the vintage feel, I added some die cuts, pearls, ribbons and a bell from my stash. This card took quite a lot of faffing around and although it is not my usual style, I quite like the end result.

Cheeky Monkey

Afternoon Folks!

Thanks to a bad update, my computer was less than happy yesterday, so I'm running very late with my DT post for Passion for Promarkers this week. The new challenge is 

SHAPED CARDS 

Here's my card using a super cute digi called Cheeky Monkey from our sponsor All Dressed Up. I couldn't find a fancy shaped die in my collection which I thought was OK for a masculine card so after lots of faffing I decided to just cut the corners off a square card blank and ta- dah - it's a hexagonal card:
