Hi Folks!
After a big colouring session at the weekend, I've finished another card!! This one definitely didn't come out the same as the idea in my head, I love the singing cat but I'm not sure about the rest of the card. Hindsight is a marvellous thing but looking at it again, I think it would have been better as a rectangular card with a few less musical notes. On a positive note (get it!!) though - my OH said he really liked it!!
The PB stamp is called 'Serenade' and is coloured with promarkers, It's a bit hard to see in the piccys but the die cuts are a rich metallic copper card to match the cat's fur! A lucky find in my scraps collection.
The musical note die is by Memory Box and the sentiment is by Paper Smooches. It came as a set of 3 but this one might not see the light of day again for a while .... sticking all the individual fiddly letters down almost proved too much for me!! The others are joined up writing which is a good thing!
I'd like to enter these challenges:

It's fabulous Jackie! Love the cat (though I wouldn't if he was under my window at night) the papers and layout are a brilliant choice! I know exactly what you mean about that Happy Birthday die, I have it and couldn't believe that all the letters were separate!

What a fun card Jacky! I love it - that cat just cracked me up laughing here! LOVE the musical notes too :)
ReplyDeleteNow, that there sentiment die - I have the very same set and totally agree with you about the fiddly little letters. In fact it was used on my card for tomorrow on the blog, very fiddly as you say. But, did you see how Jules used it here: http://jules-alwayswithaheart.blogspot.co.uk/2016/05/sunday-snippets.html
She die cut it twice and then inlaid the letters into the negative part that was left from letters being die cut. I actually think it's a great way to use the die in future :)
Hugs
