Autumnal New Home

Morning Folks!
It's the last day of my long summer holidays today and to be honest I'm worse than the kids about going back to school tomorrow!!

AUTUMN

is the theme over at Lexi's Creations and although it is not my favourite time of year I do love autumn colours!! For my card this time I have coloured Lexi's Mushroom Ladybug image with promarkers and used papers by My Mind's Eye and scraps from my box.

The edges have been distressed and I printed out the sentiment
onto a piece of recycled envelope!
The key charm is from Jolee's and the card candi is from Craftwork cards.

Thanks for looking and hope you can join us over at Lexi's Creations this fortnight!

Goldfish Shaker

Afternoon Folks!
I'm afraid that I am a bit late posting my card today for the new challenge over at Here Come the Boys, life just gets in the way sometimes!!
We have quite a challenging challenge for you this time, we'd like to see

SLIDER OR SHAKER CARDS

Now I have to admit that this did get a few of the DT in a flap, me included !!
My last shaker card ended up in the bin when half the glitter stuck to the tape - aaarrrggghh!
Anyway this time I did some research and found a fab tutorial which uses funky foam instead of dst and I found it much easier and actually liked the result!! The cute image is by Kenny K and I have used clear micro accent beads inside.

Thanks for looking and hope you'll join us at HCTB!!

I have used Lexi's Ching Lan image with papers from a Trimcraft oriental pad and a sentiment from Craftwork cards. Hope you can join us!!

A new Sheriff in town

Howdy Folks!

Here's my card for the new challenge over at Here Come the Boys!
This fortnight, we'd like to see you using

BROWNS AND ORANGES

We have a great Stampin Up prize on offer too!!

I couldn't resist using this Sheriff Bear image from The Clipart fairy, isn't he cute!!

This is an 8" x 8" card so there was room to add a string lasso!!
The Howdy Message is computer generated using a free font on to a brown envelope and then inked and distressed.

Thanks for looking and I hope you can join us at HCTB!!

Tessie Turtle

Morning Folks!

It's time for another challenge over at Lexi's Creations and this time we'd like to see you create something using the following recipe:

1 image
2 flowers &
3 papers

I've used the adorable Tessie Turtle from Lexi's shop Fairy Dust crafts, if you are our lucky winner this time you could win some of Lexi's digis too! She was so fun to colour with the trusty promarkers, of course!! The papers are a combination of MME and Imaginesce too!

Now I have to admit that I've only just realised that technically there are more than 2 flowers on my card - I was only counting the embellishment not the image and the extras on the paper too - whooops!!

Hope you can find time to visit the rest of the design team to see their fantastic creations !!
I'm trusting blogger to post this for me while I am away for a few days so I hope he behaves himself!! Thanks for looking today,

Toadily!!

Happy Sunday everyone!!
You know I can't believe that it is time for another challenge over at Here Come the Boys - where is this year going to??
This time we'd like to see your projects with

CRITTERS

That is anything from the animal kingdom but don't forget we are looking for masculine projects!!
We are sponsored this time by the lovely Lynne at

CRAFTS 4 YOU BLINKIE

Check out the main blog for all the details and don't forget to sign up for our fantastic Cricut prize too!!

For my card I have dug out a trusty old Penny Black stamp, this image just makes me smile everytime I see it and it is a dream to colour!!

The papers are a mixture from my scrap box, I'm not totally sure but I think the striped background is MME and the others are by Daisy Bucket.
Hope you all have a great rest of the weekend and that you are actually able to read this, I'm trusting Mr Blogger to do the honourable thing while I'm visiting my family!!

Happy Anniversary!

Morning Folks!

What happened to the summer?? We've had a few days of glorious weather and now it is grey and raining again ...aaarrrggghh, if only I could move to somewhere hot!!
Never mind, I guess it might mean more time to do some crafting!!

This week at CRAFT our challenge is

ANNIVERSARY
so perhaps you'd like to join us, we have two great prizes on offer from our sponsors

I've used a favourite old Penny Black stamp for my card this week which incidentally is going to be for my husband a bit later this month - we are celebrating 16 years together!!

The cute dog is coloured with promarkers and cut out with nesties labels dies and I've added a little heart shaped brad to his letter. The papers are more scraps from my box, Forever Friends if I remember correctly!!

I'd like to enter the following challenges:
