Valentine Bear!

My card is quite clean and simple as it is intended for a male recipient

and Hubby isn't one for bunches of roses - LOL - hope he doesn't read this!!!

The image is called Valentines Bear and he's been coloured with promarkers.

I decoupaged the little balloons to add a bit of depth. The backing panels are embossed with Cuttlebug Swiss dots and Kimmy Luvs folders.

Finishing touch, heart charm on some fluffy fibre!

Not my usual style but once I had got over the initial colouring panic,
I really enjoyed using this Diva who is called Movie Star!!

It also gave me an excuse to play hunt the star embellishments in my stash -

the embossing folder is by Papermania

the large silver glittery stars are gift tags from Wilkos

Matt silver stars are chipboard but not quite sure where from and

buttons are Doodlebug!

Like lots of others, I'm not in a good mood as I write and schedule this post for Monday morning - it's my first full week at work this year and I'd rather be hibernating! I know that lots of other peeps have been working all over the holidays but I still feel an Eeyore gloom coming on!!

I got to play with this great silhouette digi by Stitchy called Baby Cupid. The red frame is cut using my new Marianne Creatable die I got from my sister for Xmas - thanks Sharon!! The red card glimmers but it does show up too well in the photo! The background paper is by Forever Friends, the little buttons are from Hobbycrafts sale and the piece of ribbon is from a stash swap ages ago!!

I'm just about getting back into the swing of crafting and blogging again!!

We have a fantstic sketch challenge to start off the New Year over at C.R.A.F.T.

Our lucky winner will be getting 4 stamps of their choice from Meljens!!

The C.R.A.F.T. team were also lucky enough to get to play with a Meljens image, I have used Cheesy Mouse which is just sooo cute and fab to colour!
