Daisy Bears

Afternoon Folks!
Mid week and I have a card to show you - yippee!!
I coloured this PB image, called Playtime, last week but it has stayed on my desk until last night when I decided it might suit the great sketch over at Sketch Saturday:

I've used some very old flowers from my stash, a sentiment from LOTV along with some new papers from the First Edition Blank canvas collection and my new MB trellis die which I love - just popped through the cuttlebug and came out like a dream!

Here's a closer look at the bears, the second bear in from the left always makes me smile, what has the other one said to give him that slightly shocked / puzzled expression??
They are of course coloured with promarkers - I don't really use anything else lately!!

I'd also like to enter the following challenges:

Charisma Cardz - No digi's allowed
Sentimental Sundays - Clean & Simple

House Mouse Spring

Afternoon Folks!
Just wanted to share a House mouse card I made over the weekend but have only just managed to get photographed, why do camera batteries always die at the critical moment?
I was brave and cut into some Basic Grey Kioshi papers that I have been hoarding for a while!! I've been making a few masculine cards lately for DT commitments, so I had a good old dig through my flower collection and came up with these which I think are a mixture of prima and doodlebug but I've had them yonks! I also went wild with the pearls and embellies and also took my new spellbinders D-lites die for a test drive!!

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

House Mouse & Friends - Springtime
Papertake Weekly - Bingo - Blooms Ribbons gems
Joanna Sheen challenge - Spring into spring
Divas by design - Flowers
Simon Says Stamp - April showers / Spring flowers
Stamp & create - Use at least 1 die
Penny Black & more - April challenge
The Pretty Little ribbon shop - Spring is in the air

Celebration Time, this card was the daily talent spot at Joanna Sheen 18/04/2013

Thanks for looking!

Blast from the past!!

Afternoon everyone!!

Finally I am back in blogland after moving house almost a year ago and I have to say I'm really excited to be crafting and posting again. The new house has taken a lot more time and effort than we originally thought and crafting definitely had to take a back seat for quite a long time while I have been tackling bigger projects!! Good news though, we all love the new place so it's worth the effort AND I have finally begun to move into my new craft space, or should I say take over the spare room, and unpack my craft goodies. It's been a bit like Christmas unpacking all the stuff that has been in boxes for 10 months and there have been several things I had completely forgotten about - shhh, don't tell hubby, he already thinks I have too much craft stuff !!

Anyway, enough waffle from me, I'm here to share my card for today's new picture challenge over at Here Come the Boys , drum roll please ..... only the second card I have made this year:

and here's the picture Inspiration for this challenge

I choose to use the vintage car and blue and green colour scheme as my inspiration. It also gave me the perfect excuse to play with my new Crafty Individuals stamp (an ebay bargain) and to get inky with distress inks. I was good and used up some scraps of paper from my bits and pieces box (yes, it moved too!!), I think most of them are Basic Grey but I'm not 100% sure. The sentiment is also a recent purchase from Stampin Up (another addiction) called 'Perfectly Penned' and I think the vintage style suits this card quite well!!

I hope you will have time to pop over to the main Here come the boys blog to see all the wonderful work from the rest of the team who have been so kind and welcomed me back - hugs to you all!!

Looking forward to seeing your entries too!!
