Office Bear

Evening everyone and a belated Happy New Year!

Christmas Jumper Bear

Morning Folks!
Hope everyone is OK?
I'm here with some mid month inspiration for the challenge over at Ready Teddy Go where our theme is

CONTEMPORARY CHRISTMAS
so modern cards including a bear/ teddy of course!!

Here's my card, another attempt at CAS. I've used a very cute digi which I discovered at Birdie Brown just before the store sadly closed (talk about coming late to the party!!)
I've coloured him with promarkers and then paper pieced his jumper and hat. Looks like his Nan might have knitted him a new jumper for Christmas!! I'm thinking he is about to enjoy some cocoa!! Couldn't resist adding a pom pom to his hat:
The papers are a mixture of very old DCWV and First Edition, none of them are actual 'Christmas papers' but I think they work?? The wooden sentiment is by Dovecraft, I coloured it over with a promarker so that it matched better.
Thanks for visiting today and please pop over to the Ready Teddy Go challenge blog to see the fabulous inspiration from the design team and to check out this lovely prize:

Wish I could enter!!

I've used a combination of nesties, Memory box and Cuttlebug dies, glitter papers plus lots of stickles and gems so this is quite sparkly!

My favourite James the bear stamp from LOTV, coloured with promarkers and blinged up with stickles and glamour dust:

Morning Folks!
A quick post from me this morning, it's my son's birthday today so a bit of a celebration going on here !!

I just wanted to share my card for the midway reminder over at Ready Teddy Go challenge, the theme is

SUMMER DAYS

Here's my card using a Wild Rose Studio stamp I picked up in a sale - too cute to resist!!
Now I have to confess that I had gone through a spell of making masculine cards just before I made this one, and I think it shows - way more embellished than my normal efforts, perhaps I should have added the kitchen sink too?!
The papers are First edition, sentiment is Craftwork cards and all the die cuts are by Memory Box; the  flowers, ribbon and bling are from my stash.

Here's a closer look:

Garden Swing

Morning Folks!
My goodness August is whizzing past and it's already time for my second post for Ready Teddy go!
This month our new challenge is
DIE CUTS & PUNCHES
along with a bear of course!!
I've made a tent card using a very sweet LOTV image which has been cut out and mounted on acetate to make her a bit sturdier. The aperture was cut with a nestie, the other dies are all memory box, except for the Itty Bitty banners Stampin Up die which goes with the sentiment. The papers are a mixture of First edition and a digi paper from Bearly Mine I think (?)
The roses are from Wild Orchid crafts,  I had forgotten I'd even got them until I was hunting for the acetate and came across them. A stroke of luck really as they are a good match for the papers!!

Thanks for looking today and for any comments you leave!
You can find all the challenge details on the Ready teddy go blog and there is a great prize from our lovely sponsor:

I'd also like to enter the following challenges:

It's time for a picnic...

Morning Folks!
Well I know it's Monday, but I'm in a good mood because the sun is still shining
AND
I'm also posting my first card as a member of the design team for Ready Teddy Go - just a bit excited here!!

The challenge this month is called

Flash, Bang, Wallop . . . what a picture!

and we'd like to see you take your inspiration from

this picture

I've used the colours  and also incorporated the tea set too!!
Here's my card, the stamp is by LOTV, called Teddy Bears Picnic and it's another one that has been neglected for quite a while!

I've managed to use up a lot of older bits on this card, the papers are magazine freebies, charm & doily from a friend, pearls from ebay, and the very delicate lace has been in my stash for ages, I think it came from the Art of Craft. The ribbon bow is made from a piece of ribbon off a clothing label - Yes I am a hoarder!!

I hope you'll be able to enter the challenge , our very kind sponsor this month is

My Mum's Craft Shop

Daisy Bears

Afternoon Folks!
Mid week and I have a card to show you - yippee!!
I coloured this PB image, called Playtime, last week but it has stayed on my desk until last night when I decided it might suit the great sketch over at Sketch Saturday:

I've used some very old flowers from my stash, a sentiment from LOTV along with some new papers from the First Edition Blank canvas collection and my new MB trellis die which I love - just popped through the cuttlebug and came out like a dream!

Here's a closer look at the bears, the second bear in from the left always makes me smile, what has the other one said to give him that slightly shocked / puzzled expression??
They are of course coloured with promarkers - I don't really use anything else lately!!

I'd also like to enter the following challenges:
Ready Teddy Go - Spring has sprung
Charisma Cardz - No digi's allowed
