Afternoon Folks!
Just wanted to share a card I made last night after I found this cute Penny Black image in my scraps box, aww poor little chap! I love the way the balloon is almost as big as him!!

Little Boy Blue ..

Evening Folks!
I'm running very late today, have been in the garden since this morning trying to tame the jungle and completely forgot about my post for Here Come the Boys.. oops very red face!!

This time we'd like to see your

LITTLE BOY BLUE CARDS

i.e. cards for little boys with a monochromatic blue theme - you can use skin and hair tones but the papers and the remainder of the card must stick to the blue theme.
Here's my card using a sadly neglected LOTV image, coloured with promarkers. The papers are a recent bargain purchase from the local garden centre (!) and I think they are papermania . The sentiment and card candi are from Craftwork Cards.

Here's a closer look

I hope you can join us at Here Come the Boys this fortnight, please check out the rest of the design team inspiration on the main blog and we also have this fab prize of a bag of charms on offer:

I'd also like to enter the following challenges:
Natalie & Amy's Challenge - Monochromatic
Creative Craft World - Blues +/or Browns
2 Sisters Challenge - Blue +/or Green
Totally Papercrafts - Monochromatic
Crafty catz - One for the boys
Daring Cardmakers - Childs play
Cards for men - Anything goes

House Mouse Spring

Afternoon Folks!
Just wanted to share a House mouse card I made over the weekend but have only just managed to get photographed, why do camera batteries always die at the critical moment?
I was brave and cut into some Basic Grey Kioshi papers that I have been hoarding for a while!! I've been making a few masculine cards lately for DT commitments, so I had a good old dig through my flower collection and came up with these which I think are a mixture of prima and doodlebug but I've had them yonks! I also went wild with the pearls and embellies and also took my new spellbinders D-lites die for a test drive!!

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

House Mouse & Friends - Springtime
Papertake Weekly - Bingo - Blooms Ribbons gems
Joanna Sheen challenge - Spring into spring
Divas by design - Flowers
Simon Says Stamp - April showers / Spring flowers
Stamp & create - Use at least 1 die
Penny Black & more - April challenge
The Pretty Little ribbon shop - Spring is in the air

Celebration Time, this card was the daily talent spot at Joanna Sheen 18/04/2013

Thanks for looking!

Sweet baby bear

Morning Everyone!
Hope your weekend is going well!! It's time for a new challenge over at Here Come the Boys and this time we have a great sketch for you from our lovely Woo:

Here's my take on it, a mixture of a very old Popcorn bear stamp combined with a recent purchase, the Stampin Up itty bitty Banner sentiment and die! The papers are all quite old too, mainly Forever Friends I think and some kraft card.

Here's a closer look at this adorable bear, I think this set was designed for birthdays but the way he is hugging his blankey always makes me think of a baby!!

Thanks for looking today and I hope that you will find time to play with the sketch and join us at Here Come the Boys!!

I'd also like to enter the following challenges:

Papertake weekly - Anything goes + kraft option
Ready Teddy Go - Anything goes
Crafty Catz - Anything goes
MAWTT - Let's get krafty
Stamping Sensations - Special Occasions
2 Sisters challenge - Anything goes

Another Christmas card ...

Afternoon Folks!

This is something of a first for me, 2 Christmas cards made before December!! I'm usually finishing the last ones off on Christmas Eve! Perhaps it's the snowy weather that inspired me to have another sort through my Christmas stash!! Today, I came across one of the first clear stamps I ever bought, this cute little Polar bear is from Spiral Whisper and is no longer available but I think there is a very similar digital version over at Pink Gem. I love the CAS look but I do find them quite difficult because there's no where to hide any mistakes lol!!

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Winter Wonderland - Twinkle Twinkle Christmas Star
A Gem of a Challenge - make it cute
Ready Teddy Go - Anything goes (with a bear)
Crafts 4 Eternity - Cute as you like
