For my card I've used this really sweet image from our sponsor 2 cute rubber stamps - isn't it adorable? I've coloured it using promarkers and then added some little bling gems to the flowers on the shell. The backing papers are from The Shabby Princess - festival collection which I love!!!!

I've used a sewing image from our sponsor Bows and Berries for my card. I coloured it with Distress inks - bit of a first for me ;-) - and tried to give it a slightly distressed vintage feel! The gorgeous papers are from Barely Mine Designs.

Morning everyone!!

Just a really quick post to let you know we have a fab and very easy challenge starting over at Lexi's Creations today -

USE A CHARM!!

I've made a start on the xmas cards using the cute Paulo image from Fairy Dust Crafts, coloured with promarkers and with a glittered up white pom pom (from Tesco of all places!!)

There is a bit of glitter on his scarf tassels too but I can't get the camera to pick it up!!!

My snowflake charm is from Ewe2canCraft , I thought it was a good match to go with the backing paper from my old Christmas stash!!!

It's monster time.....

Evening Folks!!

Well here I am better late than never with my card for the new challenge over at Here Come the Boys - this time we'd like to see MONSTERS on your creations!!!

I've used a very 'unscary' monster called Fluffy from Pollycraft. I love this big guy, he is so easy to colour and always reminds me of Sully from the Monsters Inc movie. Had to go with the turquoise colour scheme when I found this backing paper in my stash from K&Co (?). The bunting is made from My mind's Eye paper, cut into diamond shapes and then wrapped around the twine and inked at the edges. The sentiment is from our lovely team leader Woo - thanks hun!!!

Woo is also sponsoring the challenge this time, she has offered three decoupage sheets and a stamp as a prize!!

Savannah Colour challenge

Morning folks!!

Time for a new challenge over at C.R.A.F.T. , this time we have a colour challenge for you which we have called Savannah. Here it is:

You can use 1 or 2 colours from the selection or all of them if you can!! We are sponsored by AiFactory who are offering 2 images from their shop as a prize. I have used "Up, up and away" from them on my card, which as you can see is very CAS!!

The image has been coloured with promarkers and then layered up to give it a bit of dimension. I tried using the image without 'sky' at first but somehow it looked weird so I've added a little patch of blue mulberry paper behind the image.

The sentiment stamp is from Lili of the Valley. I did struggle not to add something else to this but now I have got used to the white space I'm actually quite pleased with it!!

Well I don't know about you but I definitely feel that autumn has arrived, the mornings are freezing!! Autumn is also the theme for our new challenge over at CRAFT which starts today.

Running a bit later than anticipated but just wanted to show you my card for the new challenge over at Lexi's Creations this fortnight which is

'Just a Sentiment'

I've used Lexi's Happy Birthday text cut out with nesties. The paper is from the papermania Christmas carol collection, bazzill flowers and a pearl brad from stash.

Also made an attempt at sewing with my mini sewing machine, went better than expected but still need more practice!!
