Butterfly catching

Afternoon Folks!
Hope everyone is well! I've been trying to get back into the swing of card making after spending quite a lot of the summer away from my crafty stash!! I've caught up with my DT commitments which I can't show you yet, but today I've made a quick card which I can share:
I've been rooting through my old stash again and decided this topper from LOTV would look fun teamed up with my new memory box butterflies - love making these:
I used this sketch from Sketch N stash as my inspiration although I did move the butterfly on the RHS up a bit as it looked wrong on the ground!!
The backing paper is an antique piece from Daisy D's and the sentiment is from Craftwork cards! I'm trying hard not to crumble and buy more papers before Christmas ..... wish me luck!!

I'd also like to enter the following challenges:
Lili's little fairies - No flowers
Delightful challenges - Make the cut
Dutch dare - Birthday Wishes
Aud Sentiments - any sentiment
Anything goes - In the garden + Butterflies

Garden Swing

Morning Folks!
My goodness August is whizzing past and it's already time for my second post for Ready Teddy go!
This month our new challenge is
DIE CUTS & PUNCHES
along with a bear of course!!
I've made a tent card using a very sweet LOTV image which has been cut out and mounted on acetate to make her a bit sturdier. The aperture was cut with a nestie, the other dies are all memory box, except for the Itty Bitty banners Stampin Up die which goes with the sentiment. The papers are a mixture of First edition and a digi paper from Bearly Mine I think (?)
The roses are from Wild Orchid crafts,  I had forgotten I'd even got them until I was hunting for the acetate and came across them. A stroke of luck really as they are a good match for the papers!!

Thanks for looking today and for any comments you leave!
You can find all the challenge details on the Ready teddy go blog and there is a great prize from our lovely sponsor:

I'd also like to enter the following challenges:

Evening Folks!
Well guess who is a bit late with my blog post for the new challenge at Here Come the Boys, I was all set to sort it out last night but my blog had adsense adverts all over the place - not good, especially as I couldn't seem to write a post without them over the top arggghhh!!
