Just fixing dinner.....

BOO!!

TRICK OR TREAT!!

Morning Folks!
No doubt you can guess that the new theme for this fortnight over at Here Come the Boys is

HALLOWEEN

so prepare to scare us!!

I've used an image from Dustin Pike for my card, I love his drawings, they are always fun!!
I've coloured Winnie the Witch (she seems like a Winnie to me!!) using promarkers and added some stickles to the stewpot to get the feeling of 'Eye of newt' and 'skin of toad' - yum bet that smells appetizing!!

The stripey backing paper is an antique piece of Doodlebug paper from my scraps box and the little spider is from a Jolee's Sticker pack that I bought yonks ago!! The sentiment is computer generated using a free font download.

We'd love to see all your Halloween projects over at Here Come the Boys (although please remember they are for the men in our lives!!)

This time the challenge is being sponsored by Woo who is offering this fantastic prize:

Snowman tag

Afternoon Folks!
Whoops red face here, guess who messed up with scheduling this post, the new CRAFT challenge started this morning, I'm just catching up with the rest of the DT now!!

This time we would like you to follow the following recipe:

1 ribbon
2 shapes and
some glitter!!

Simples - yes!!

Here's my take on the recipe, a crimbo shaker tag. The snowman stamp came from ebay many moons ago but I still think he is cute and such a doddle to colour!! The paper is from old xmas stash too - I'm still trying not to buy any more paper at the moment!!

Here's a closer look , the circle shape has been cut with nesties and the tag shape is just a rectangle with rounded corners and used fancy edge scissors for the top.

Hope you can join us at CRAFT this week, we are sponsored by Sassy Studio designs, you could win 4 digi images!!

I'd also like to enter the following challenges:

Aud sentiments -Winter Theme
My Mums Craft Shop - Inspired by a song 'Frosty the Snowman'
Hooked on Crafts Challenges - Anything but a card

Edit: I made the top 3 ;-) !!

Well Wishers .....

Hi Folks!
Just wanted to share a really quick card I've made this afternoon using part of a Penny Black stamp called Well Wishers. I masked off the cat with the Birthday cake which is also on this stamp as I just wanted to make a small CAS card. The little guys have been coloured with promarkers, cut out with nesties and mounted on glitter paper. The balloon has had the glossy accent treatment and the sentiment stamp is from LOTV.

Have to say although I love the 'Less is More' idea I do struggle with it!! I'm thinking this is perhaps a bit plain and debating about ribbon and bling!!!!

Anyhow I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Let's INK it up : Think Pink
Inky Impressions - Monochrome & Breast Cancer support
My Mums Craft Shop - All creatures great and small
Sentimental Sundays - Anything goes
& Forever Friends - Use a sentiment

Little Santa Hat

Afternoon Folks!!
Can you believe that this cute little chap has been coloured since last weekend but it has been a bit of a non productive week here and he has only just made it on to a card!! Still on a positive note, I think I am still in time for the Christmas Sparkle challenge over at House Mouse and Friends !!

The photos aren't great but I hope you can see his little hat has had doodlebug white crushed velvet and glamour dust added, along with glitter around the edge of the image and lots of blingy red pearls - an ebay bargain :-)

I was struggling a bit for inspiration this morning until I found a fab sketch over at The Sweet Stop, I've turned it around a bit so I hope it's still OK?? The papers are a combination of Forever Friends and Henbury Lane from last year, I keep telling myself I DO NOT need to buy more papers for xmas but it is sooo tempting!!!

I can't resist entering the following challenges as well:

Hot VW Beetle

Happy Sunday everyone!!
I'm enjoying this hot weather aren't you?? Hoping it lasts a bit longer!!

Talking of hot, here's my card for 'WHEELY NICE', our new challenge at Here Come the Boys:

I've coloured this fantastic digi from Squidgi Digi with promarkers. The paper is really old, think it's from a big Dovecraft pad - does anyone recognise it??

I added a bit of Glossy Accents to the eyes, distressed and inked the edges of the images and added a few card candi to finish off:

The very appropriate digi sentiment was from the lovely Lynn over at Crafts 4 you
Thanks so much Lynn - it's perfect xxx!!
