Hello Little One

Morning Folks!

I can't believe how quickly the weeks are whizzing by!! It's Thursday again already!

Time for a new challenge at CRAFT, this week out theme is

NEW BABY

and we are sponsored by Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps

Have to admit that time was against me this week, so I choose to use my all time favourite image for baby cards, Baby Elephant by Crissy Armstrong which you can find here. Decided to keep things very simple, just a hint of lace, a few pearls and the sentiment is from LOTV .

I'd also like to enter this in the following challenges:

CES - Inspired by a song - Nellie the Elephant!!

The Crafty Pad - Use a digi

Tuesday Morning Sketches : KIDS

Thanks for looking and don't forget to join us at CRAFT!

Ribbons but not in a bow or a knot!!

I'm not sure what has happened to the post I had scheduled for this morning,

I think Mr Blogger must have eaten it??

Anyway, here is my card for the new challenge at Lexi's Creations where we'd like to see you use ribbon but not in a bow or a knot!

Our sponsor for this week is Whiff of Joy stamps!

I've used Lexis' Butterflies for my card, coloured with promarkers

I've ruched the ribbon following this fantastic tutorial and although it took a while I'm really pleased with my first attempt!

Please pop over to the main blog to see the rest of the design teams creations, we are also having a design team call if you're interested!

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

Morning Folks!

Is it just me or does this year seem to be going by really quickly?

I can't believe it's Thursday again and time for another challenge over at C.R.A.F.T.

We have a great sponsor this week

- The Stamping Boutique -

you could win 5 digi's of your choice!

The challenge this time was right up my street!!

PAPER PIECING

Here's my card:

I have paper pieced the little girl's hair, dress, shoes, socks

and the dog's jacket - once I get started on paper piecing, I just don't stop LOL!! In case you are wondering the stamp is from a set that are marvellous for paper piecing, it's called 'Dress Up Girl' by Marianne design . There are lots of little outfits for the kids, a bit like those paper cut out dolls with the tabbed clothes sets you used to be able to get many moons ago...does anyone else know what I am talking about??

Bit of a closer look...

Thanks for looking, don't forget to head over to CRAFT to see the rest of the Design teams great makes. I am looking forward to visiting your blogs to see your paper pieced creations!

EASTER!!

We have a lovely promarker prize for you too!!

Here's my card using Easter Bella and papers from Pink Petticoat which I was lucky enough to win in a recent blog hop:

Here's a closer look, Bella reminds me of the Caramel bunny on the Cadbury adverts - perhaps that is just me dreaming of chocolate....

These little chipboard stickers are from Poundland and are the perfect colour match and great for propping up the easel card!

Thanks for looking!!
