Scaredy Cat!

Morning Folks!
It's midway through the month and our new challenge is just starting over at Sparkles Monthly Challenges.
This time we have a colour challenge and would like to see projects with only two of these colours:

ORANGE, PURPLE, GREEN and BLACK.

I quite like Halloween, so I've gone for that as my theme but obviously these colours don't have to be used just for Halloween! The stamp is Jack O'Lantern Kitty from Penny Black, coloured with promarkers and pencils and then cut out with deckle edge nesties - minding the whiskers. I had a good hunt through my stash to find suitable papers and embellishments - some of this stuff must be a decade old!

I should think there is a smell of burning fur with the cat sat on top of the lit pumpkin, let's hope they are using battery operated tea lights!!

Pumpkin Puss

Morning Folks!
Hope you have something nice planned for the weekend?

It's the first Saturday of the month which means that the new challenge is just starting over at Penny Black Saturday Challenges. As usual ANYTHING PENNY BLACK GOES, the optional 'Extra' challenge this time is
A SPOOKY COLOUR COMBO
Choose at least 2 colours from Black, Orange, Purple and Green.

I decided to make a Halloween card using this super cute PB stamp called 'Beware of Cat'. I don't usually send Halloween cards but I think this one might be posted to my son who has just started Uni! The papers are a mixture of some very old 12 x 12 scrapbook papers, a pad from The Works and some dotty scraps from my folders. The Tando chipboard pumpkin came from the closing own sale at The Craft Barn - another fab shop gone :-(
I coloured the image and pumpkin with promarkers and pencils.

Here's the close up - anyone fancy getting pumpkin flesh and seeds out of cat fur??

I do hope you'll pop over to the main blog, just click on the picture below, to see the fabulous cards from the rest of the design team.

Santa and the team!

Morning Folks!
We have a new challenge over at SPARKLES CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE today and  Sybrina has chosen the theme of:
CHRISTMAS IS FOR KIDS
so a make suitable for a child.

This is another card from the Create and Craft topper and decoupage kit I bought last year. You can see another card from this kit here. I thought this card would appeal to a child with its bright primary colours and cute Santa. To add a bit of interest I decided to make an easel card, all I added was some silver mirri card:

Quick and simple but I quite like it and sticking decoupage layers makes a change from colouring stamps now and again!
