Panda in Love

Hi Folks!

It's a bright but chilly afternoon here in Hampshire - I'm in a good mood because Friday has finally arrived, it's been a long week! Not got big plans for the weekend, hopefully some time to craft.

Today, I wanted to share my entry  for the monthly progressive challenge over at Gerda Steiner Designs using Panda in Love. 

I fell in love with this little panda as soon as he arrived in my inbox. I coloured him up last night and raided my scraps folders to find suitable papers. I love how this turned out, I think it could be used for lots of occasions. 

I'm looking forward to seeing the new image Gerda sends out for February, so far they have all been super cute and fun to colour.

How can it be Monday again so quickly? I'm sure the weekends are getting shorter! We are also midway through January (hooray!!) so it's time for a new challenge over at Sparkles Monthly Challenges. This time we would like to see:

I recently treated myself to some new digis in the sale over at DigiStamp Boutique - this one is Jasper and Flower which I thought would be useful for lots of occasions, including Thank you!  The papers are a mixture of LOTV , Forever Friends and a magazine freebie. The sentiment tag is LOTV too.

Yappy Birthday!

Morning Folks!

I can't believe we are well into January, I'm still writing 2017 - perhaps it's my brain slowing in the dull weather!

Just popping by to let you know that this week, the new challenge at Passion for Promarkers is to

MAKE A MASCULINE CARD 

Stop groaning  ...... you can do this, put the flowers and sparkly stuff down!!

Here's my card using one of my favourite Penny Black stamps for the dreaded male make, it's called Circus Act.  Dogs are quite popular in my family who aren't really into the classic sporty or drinking images. I love colouring all the little pups, their expressions always make me smile, especially the ones that can't see what's going on. The sentiment die is from Cut and Make  -  with a slight bit of snipping and adjustment to make it more appropriate! 

The papers are from my scraps folders along with a tiny snippet of ribbon which was just about long enough! I always think CAS is the way to go with masculine cards so I just added a charm attached with a copper brad (both antiques from my stash!!)

WHITE ON WHITE

Happy New Year Everyone!!

 We have a new challenge over at SPARKLES CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE today and the theme is:

WHITE ON WHITE

I know we have only just finished Christmas but just think how prepared you'll be next December if you make something now !!

Here's my card, I always struggle with white on white and this one was no different. I did try just straight white but the end result just looked flat and boring so I sneaked in a bit of silvery white glitter card too. It does look better in real life but it was a bit gloomy here when I took the photo.

The bauble and wording dies are both made by Xcut.
