Evening Folks!

It's a very quick post from me tonight, I realised on my way home from work that I didn't post my DT card for the new challenge at Passion for Promarkers yesterday - apologies to my teamies :-(

Anyway without further ado, here's my card for our new theme which is

Be Naughty!

Morning Folks!

This is the last post I'll be writing as a member of the SPARKLES CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE  Design team :-(

There just aren't enough hours in the day to do all the things I'd like to lately! I have enjoyed my Sparkles time and it has really helped me to be more organized when December arrives!

The new theme for this month is a good one:

MAKE US LAUGH

Bugaboo images and their sassy sentiments often make me chuckle, so here is my card using Stella Christmas Sled. I think we all know someone like Stella!

 Love the sour expression!

The background paper is from The Works, tree die is by Die'sire and the snow scene is just ripped paper with sparkles and glamour dust added along the edges.

It's all about three!

Morning Folks!

This week, the new challenge at Passion for Promarkers is to

USE 3 of SOMETHING

Here's my card using 3 different papers and 3 pearls along with an image from our sponsor Bugaboo.

This cutie is called Tall Flower Bear:

Back to School

Morning Folks!

The new theme over at Sparkles Monthly Challenges is

BACK TO SCHOOL

I've been back a couple of weeks now - BOO!! - and am already looking forward to the next holiday!

Here's the card I made after a very long rummage through my stash:

The paper is from PaperNation, the owl is a Penny Black stamp called 'Nocturne' and the sentiment is LOTV.

Elephant love

Morning Folks!

This week, the new challenge at Passion for Promarkers is nice and easy:

ADD A CHARM

I don't know about you but I bought lots of charms a few years ago, but now I rarely think to add them to a card! After a bit of a rummage through my charms box, which is largely unsorted, I found something suitable. Me and hubby  celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary yesterday and this is the card I made for him:

This is a very old rubber stamp by Whimsy stamps that I bought about 6 years ago at a craft show. Looking at the Whimsy site I think it has sadly been discontinued.

Love the way they are holding trunks!

Paper is Dovecraft and the sentiment is an odd one in my stash - could have been a magazine freebie?

Tropical Holiday

Morning Folks!

Our new theme over at Sparkles Monthly Challenges is

TROPICAL VACATION

Now of course I'd love to be showing you a beautiful scrapbook page of a gorgeous white sandy beach that I have wandered along, but sadly that's still on my bucket list!!

Instead, here's my bright and cheery card using 'Pig Vacation' from Bugaboo and a very old piece of card from Kanban called Funky Daisy:

Zentangled Flowers

Afternoon Folks!

Sometimes things just don't go to plan - I meant to post this yesterday but just ran out of time! Anyway, hopefully better late than never, here is my card for the new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers which is

FLOWER POWER

Here's my card using a stamp from Creative Expressions called Zentangled Flower Square. This was such a fun stamp to colour although it did take a while!! I rather stupidly coloured the stamp before thinking about adding a sentiment - yep cart before horse again!! To save messing up, I cut around the frame and aperture and then decided which sentiment to use. Good job I didn't risk my first choice of sentiment because it was too big! In the end I stamped this woodware sentiment in Versamagic and then stuck the coloured frame over the top. Finished off with a few sparkly gems.
